Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Charitonow, a longtime Crown Heights resident, passed away on Motzei Shabbos, 9 Adar, 5781.
He was 70.
Rabbi Charitonow, who lived in Crown Heights, was known for his brilliant mind. He passed away after battling a short illness.
He is survived by his brothers, Rabbi Sholom Charitonow, Rabbi Shmaryohu Charitonow, Avrohom Charitonow.
The levaya will take place today, Sunday, leaving Shomrei Hadas at 1:00 PM and passing by 770 at 2:00 PM, cemetery 3:00 PM.
