Rabbi Yehuda Rubin, 71, OBM

Rabbi Yehuda Rubin, a Shliach in Alon Moreh, Israel, passed away on Shabbos, 5 Tishrei 5782.

He was 71 and passed away from complications of coronavirus.

Rabbi Rubin was a dedicated Shliach of the Rebbe, and through his efforts, many individuals became closer to Yiddishkeit.

Aside the directing the Chabad Center in Alon Moreh, he also was active in the cities of Shechem, Yitzhar, Itamar, Har Bracha, Kiryat Netafim, Nofeh Nechamya, Revavah, Yakir, Nofim, Chavot Gilad, Rechalim and others.

Every Chanukah his Chabad House sent out many volunteers to do mivtzoim with the IDF soldiers in the huge base of thousands of soldiers in the Shomron.

In the past year, he had been vaccinated against coronavirus, but he did not develop antibodies. After he fell ill, chasidim around the world said Tehillim for his recovery. Sadly, he passed away on Shabbos.

He is survived by children who follow in his ways, and grandchildren.

The levaya took place today in the Central Shul in Alon Moreh.
