Rabbi Yaakov (Yankel) Kleinman, a longtime member of the Long Beach, CA Chabad community, passed away on Sunday, 4 Shevat, 5784.
A native of Passaic, NJ, he was a talmid at Yeshivos Hadar Hatorah, 770, and Kfar Chabad, receiving semicha from Rabbi Yisroel Jacobson.
He previously lived in Clifton, NJ and Silver Spring, MD, and worked as a senior accountant for the US Dept of Defense. Known to his friends as “Jack”, he was known as a masmid in learning and a baal tzedaka.
Yaakov is survived by his wife, Rosaly Kleinman, children Shaindee Rosenblat (Crown Heights), Leah Neubort (shlucha in Fair Lawn, NJ), Ari Kleinman (Atlanta, GA) and Chaiky Nagel (Los Angeles, CA) and siblings Gary and Yolanda.
Levaya will be Monday, 5 Shavat, 3pm, graveside, at Riverside Cemetery, Saddle Brook, NJ.

Wednesday 1pm at the Rosenblat family home, 686 Crown Street, Brooklyn, NY
Thursday 2-6pm at the Kleinman family home, 4512 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, CA
Friday 10am-12pm and motzie Shabbos 8pm at the Nagel family home, 5967 Spelthorne Lane, Los Angeles, CA
