Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld has been cooking up a storm for the first “A Taste of Moshiach Shiur” which will take place this evening at Bais Eliezer Yitzchok in Crown Heights.
Rabbi Weinfeld is himself cooking up batches of fresh gefilte fish, from his mother’s secret recipe of carp and salmon.
Every participant of tonight’s inaugural Shiur will be able to take home a plate of the delicious fresh fish for his family.
“The recipe is my mother’s, Rebbetzin Penina Weinfeld, who is also known for her famous kokosh cake recipe,” Rabbi Weinfeld said. “Now the entire neighborhood can enjoy her delicious gefilte fish.”
Beginning at 8:30 this Thursday night, the men in the community are invited to Beis Eliezer Yitzchok, 394 Kingston Ave, to partake in a new initiative, a feast, if you will, of the body, mind and soul, offering something for everyone.
Kugel and cholent – and gefilte fish will be served alongside a shiur given by Rabbi Mendel Krasnianski. His eloquent and vivid conveyance of the Rebbe’s Torah captivates and inspires.
Following the Shiur, Rabbi Weinfeld, known for his warm passion and energy, will lead a Q&A session and discussion dedicated to your questions about Moshiach and how we can bring it into our lives today.
Chavrusa learning will follow. Rabbi Krasnianski will be on site to tailor a learning program for you from the prepared materials on various intriguing topics on Moshiach. Come with a Chavruasa, or let us help you find one there.
The evening is dedicated in memory of Tomer Malka bas R’ Yitzchok Levy obm, whose yartzeit is tonight, and Rabbi Dov Yoel ben Rabbi Dovber Levy obm.
