Good healthy exercise, but people should realise it becomes a more difficult feat as we age.

When I was 9 years old, and we lived in CT, we would drive to shul erev Shabbos, walk home 4 miles, walk back for Shachris, home for lunch, and back for Mincha. 16 miles in total. We did that for about a year or a bit more, then moved closer to the Chabad House.

9 miles round trip. Each way takes him 80 mins.
Kol hakovod to him and his wife!!

80 minutes each way = 4.5 miles in 80 minutes.
Not to detract from the ‘amazingness’ of Rabbi Brackman’s commitment.

it is 9 miles round trip however, it is 80 minutes each way. Hence 4 1/2 miles in 80 minutes.

Yeah, the title is misleading, it makes you think he walks 9 miles each way. It’s only 9 Miles round trip, so 4.5 miles in 80 minutes is a standard pace.

Keep it up!
