Rabbi Tzvi Abba Lerman, who as a newlywed was sent by the Rebbe on a chinuch Shlichus and spent his life educating children in Pittsburgh, New Jersey and Crown Heights, passed away.
He was 87.
In fact, it was during their Sheva Brachos celebration that the Rebbe has instructed them to leave for Pittsburgh on Shlichus. When it was pointed out that they were newlyweds, the Rebbe replied that the Sheva Brachos can continue in their new location.

Rabbi Tzvi Abba Lerman recalls the special attention the Rebbe gave him in the early 1950s, in connection to his wedding.
The couple later taught in New Jersey and eventually returned to Crown Heights where he taught at the Lubavitcher Yeshiva boys school, while his wife worked in the administration of Mosdoth Day Care Center.
When his wife once mentioned to the Rebbe that parnasa (livelihood) was tough, the Rebbe reminded her: “Der aibishter hut dir gebenshet mit gutte kinder (the Almighty has blessed you with good children).”

What an example of a Chosod Rabbi Lehrman gave a shiur every Shabbos night at Yeshiva Reines that I and my friends had the zehus to be part of. He was also our Chazzan for Yom Neroyim It is hard to believe the number of our Chassidim the Abishter hosts taking for himself. It is time for the revelation of the Rebbe Ad Mosai
