A night-long Farbrengen took place Monday at the Chabad Yeshiva Zal in Montreal, where stories and words of inspiration were said in preparation for the summer vacation.
Leading it was Rabbi YY Jacobson, leader of Congregation Beis Shmuel Chabad in Brooklyn and one of the most sought-after speakers today in the Jewish world.
He was in Canada for the inauguration ceremony of the Chabad Community Center dedicated by David and Eda Schottenstein, who also back Jacobson’s TheYeshiva.net, a global classroom for Jewish thought and its contemporary applications.
Following the celebration, bochurim asked Rabbi Jacobson to speak to them. He was joined by Montreal Chabad askan Rabbi Dovid Cohen and singer Yoni Zigelboum who was in town for a Bar Mitzva.
The farbrengen went on until 5:00 am.
