The 12th grade of Bais Rivkah High School in Crown Heights celebrated their graduation Sunday joined by proud family and friends.
Rabbi Avraham Shemtov, Chairman of Agudas Chasidei Chabad and Chairman of the Board of Bais Rivkah, was in attendance.
It was truly uplifting to the faculty and students to see Rabbi Shemtov in person, after his recovery from a serious medical procedure, as he read the Rebbe’s letter and shared words of inspiration.

Mrs. Shaindel Tiechtel, who has been in the Bais Rivkah faculty for 53 years and served as a principal for over 47 years, introduced the graduates and served as MC.
Morah Tiechtel, who will be retiring as principal of the High School following the next school year and will serve as Dean, spoke emotionally about her time in Bais Rivkah and thanked the staff, parents, students, and especially the teachers.
“Who makes the school? It’s the teachers who make the school – every day, without glamour, without fame, they are there,” she said.
Mrs. Dena Shusterman, Shlucha in Georgia, spoke on behalf of the parents.
The event concluded with a singing presentation by the students and a video slide show of their years in school.
