Rabbi Shais Taub, whose online platforms bring Torah wisdom to 10 million people a month, has announced the opening of a new space for in-person events, the SoulWords House, located just half a block from the Ohel. The venue will officially open its doors this week for a special Lag B’Omer event for men.
COLlive readers may remember that the house had its soft launch on 11 Nissan, the Rebbe’s birthday, when over 50 women attended a transformative class in Igros Kodesh. This initial event set the tone for the house’s mission: to provide a space for Torah study, spiritual growth, and meaningful community connection.
Since then, several finishing touches have been added to the house, including the renovation of the outdoor space, which now serves as an additional area for gatherings. The grand opening and official “Chanukas HaBayis” of the new facility will take place on Lag B’Omer, a day when thousands visit the Ohel to commemorate the yahrtzeit of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai.
The event will feature the study of selected texts from Rashbi’s teachings in the Zohar, illuminated by the Rebbe’s Torah—an fitting combination for Lag B’Omer at the Ohel.
The in-person event is exclusively for men and will take place on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 9:00 PM ET. Space is extremely limited, and attendance is by RSVP only at SoulWords.org/RSVP. The class will also be streamed online at SoulWords.org/LIVE.
Looking ahead, the SoulWords House will host regular events focused on Torah study, farbrengens, and spiritual connection.
