The 21st annual Day of Learning in the Catskills for women took place on Tuesday, 7 Menachem Av, July 25 at Evergreen Estates in Loch Sheldrake, NY.
The annual event organized by Tamar Pewzner and cohosted by the women of Evergreen, unites Jewish women of all types who gather together for a day of learning and inspiration.
This year’s special topic was entitled “Marriage and Moshiach – Tools to Prepare Your Home for the Geulah” and was delivered by renowned teacher and lecturer, Rabbi Shais Taub.
At the event, Rabbi Taub spoke about the profound significance of breaking intergenerational cycles and cleansing our family lines, setting the stage for a world of harmony and redemption.
Participants also enjoyed a buffet lunch.
Pewzner began the women’s day of learning at Evergreen as a way of celebrating her birthday and the birthdays of both of her parents all who have birthdays during the nine days. Tamar’s birthday is 7 Menachem Av, her father R’ Yaakov ben Shabsai on 7 Menachem Av and her mother, tzu langer yarn, Mrs. Brocha Ester Elberg’s birthday is on 4 Menachem Av.
