This Yud Alef Nissan, Sunday night, Tes Nissan, April 10, Crown Heights will be hosting a night of inspiration like no other. With the streets of Eastern Parkway blocked off and over 15,000 people in attendance, the Chabad community will be able to celebrate the Rebbe’s 120th birthday in a whole new way.
The organizers behind this massive scale event have announced that Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chairman of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch, will address the historic event this Sunday in Crown Heights.
Rabbi Kotlarsky will share words of inspiration and Chizuk with the thousands in attendance.
Rabbi Dov Greenberg, director of Chabad on Campus at Stanford University and a sought-after lecturer, was announced as the keynote speaker.
Also speaking will be Rabbi Moshe Moscovitz from Kharkov and Rabbi Sholom Gottlieb from Nikolayev, our Rebbe’s own hometown, in a tribute to the bravery and dedication of the Ukraine shluchim during the current war.
Member of Badatz of Crown Heights Rabbi Yosef Braun has called on the entire community – every man, woman and child, to attend the event.
“This is our chance to make a kiddush Hashem and bring true honor to the Rebbe,” said Rabbi Braun. “Every individual matters… men women and children have to come, and get others to come…and fill the entire Eastern Parkway. It’s important that it should be successful.”
An all star lineup of singers will entertain at the event, including Avraham Fried, Benny Freidman, Mendi Jerufi, Eli Marcus and Avi Piamenta.
The Yud Aleph Nissan event is a joint effort of the CIG, Bais Shmuel – Chabad and Tzivos Hashem. COLlive.com is also a proud sponsor.
I am very interested to know what events will be held on the birthday itself: “Yud Alef Nisan”. All the best!
Can we get this on Zoom?
Looking forward
