Yes he was his brother in law. Rabbi Feder was also predeceased by a daughter nebach

yes they were brother in laws.rabbi raskins wife that passed away 30 years ago was rabbi feders sister

BDE! Rabbi Feder will be an incredible meilitz yoshor for the world for Moishiach NOW! Words are insufficient to describe the holiness, kindness, compassion, caring, knowledge, and love of Rabbi Feder. He and his wife, z”l, hosted me every Shabbos and yom tov for nine years, except for five summers I spent as an out-of-town camp counselor. Two of those years were on the Shabbasois away from yeshiva in Morristown, so I slept over. beginning motzei shabbos all children will sit together in boropark at the daughter kupez house till wed morn 1538 37th street ( now sitting in new square)
( not sure how early on motzei shabb will be in bp if they in skvere for shabbos)

They will be in Boro Park at that address on Sunday only. On Monday they will be back in new square do the rest of the shiva.
