Rabbi Mordechai Feder, long-time resident of Crown Heights, passed away on Wednesday, 15 Cheshvan, 5780.
Rabbi Mordechai Feder, and his wife Rochel OBM, were known for their hospitality, first at their home on Montgomery Street and later on Sterling Street, hosting hundreds of eating and sleeping guests for over 30 years.
They were known for their chesed, whether someone needed a place to sleep, a meal, or a listening ear.
His wife Rochel passed away in 2013.
He is survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, living in Eretz Yisroel, Boro Park, Staten Island and New Sqaure.
The levaya will take place tonight in New Square.

beginning motzei shabbos all children will sit together in boropark at the daughter kupez house till wed morn 1538 37th street ( now sitting in new square)
( not sure how early on motzei shabb will be in bp if they in skvere for shabbos)
They will be in Boro Park at that address on Sunday only. On Monday they will be back in new square do the rest of the shiva.
