During his recent visit to the State of Florida, Israel’s Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Yonah Metzger took the opportunity to visit North Miami Beach and highlight the importance of the commitment of individuals to the performance of acts of kindness.
He visited the home of Reb Yehuda Kaploun, where he, along with Mr. Shlomo Freidman and Mr. Dovie Katz, were preparing Oneg Shabbos food boxes for delivery to dozens of families in North Miami Beach.
Expressing his support and admiration for this important and vital effort, the Chief Rabbi himself volunteered, and assisted in the preparation and packing of the large boxes.
Rabbi Metzger thanked the volunteers and their supporters, and encouraged them to go from strength to strength, while praying that in the future, the number of families needing assistance will be reduced.
The Chief Rabbi, accompanied by Mr. Yanky Rubin and Reb Yehuda Kaploun visited the home of Moshe and Esther Schwab and their daughter Ruchama Aliza, who is in need of a Refuah Shleima.
Rabbi Metzger offered words of encouragement to the family, and expressed the hope that he would in the future be able to participate in family celebrations with their daughter and their entire family.
