A very nice man

Reb Menachem was a very sweet Temimus’dikeh man who sufficed with very little Gashmiyus. Always learning. Took his Avodas Hashem very seriously.

As I remember, he moved here in 1988 with his wife and children from Israel. Perhaps he may have been in kvutza earlier, but didn’t remain from that time.

He was one of the kindest in CH. We should all learn from him and follow his ways. He always greeted everyone with a smile and just gave out good energy. He was lovely, his wife is lovely and his children are lovely….that’s hard to find these days. We were blessed to know him.

We were blessed to see R’ Nissim in action. On many mornings he would come to our building to pick up his grandson and take him to school. He had such pride and joy in his grandchildren and patience with them. He will be missed! May Hashem comfort the family..

Pure as gold —inside and out! Generous of heart and spirit!!
Lived as a chasid should —learning and always working on himself!
May his memory be a blessing to his family and klal Yisroel!

A tzadik
May 3, 2020 11:32 am

Does anyone realize this man was a true Tzadik. He translated Chaim Luzzato’s work Maamir Hageluah into English. Do you think its a co-incidence that Luzzato also died in a plague. This world lost a Baal chased. If anyone knows how to obtain his book, please let me know as it appears out of print
May his family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
