As the Jewish world prepares for Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, we are reminded of the many families within our neighborhood who are cared for on a daily basis throughout the year.
Ahavas Chesed, led by the dedicated Rabbi Avrohom Lider obm, has always put the medical needs of the Crown Heights community first.
Since his passing, his life’s mission of Chesed is being perpetuated by his son, and with our growing community, has not ceased for a second.
From annual blood drives daily hospital visits and life-saving, logistical, transport arrangements, to daily meal deliveries and medical advocacy at the highest level, Ahavas Chesed is at the forefront.
In preparation for Yom Kippur, we must recognize their incredible and vital work by partnering with them in their annual Yom Kippur appeal.
