On Monday, 19 Shevat the Cheder Menachem in Los Angeles was visited by Rabbi Boruch Lesches, Rav of the Lubavitcher Kehilah in Monsey.
Rabbi Lesches toured the Cheder, and visited a number of classes, testing the students in their learning and gave Divrei brocho Ve’idud, encouraging the Talmidim in their learning and growing in Chassidishkeit.
Utilizing the opportunity, four students who are preparing to be tested on a seder of Mishnayos Baal Peh, were each tested by the visiting Rav.
The students who were tested are Menachem Farkash who has learned the entire Shisha Sidrei Mishna Baal Peh and is preparing to be tested on it all by the Menahel of Cheder Menachem, Levi Greenbaum (Seder Moed), Yossi Wolowik (Seder Zeroim, Moed, Nezikin) and Mendel Korf (Seder Moed).
Rabbi Lesches was very impressed with the learning and wished the boys continued success in their studies.
