Growing up with him as the baal Koreh in his father’s shul, he was one who didn’t speak much. when he did speak, his words were measured and exact. he was a chasid par excellence. Being his son, Yosef Yitzchak’s friend, we spent many a Shabbos learning and playing in his house.
May he be a meilitz yosher for his entire family.
Condolences to my dear lifelong friend, Yosef Yitzchak. May you know no more tzar and have only simchos.

I sat next to him in shul for many years. He had the most BEAUTIFUL middos as mispallel, and as a friend.
He was also a magnificent baal koreh.
He should be a meletz yosher for his family and klal yisroel.
