Happy birthday and thank you.
Chabad Shluchim from around the world are extending their congratulatory wishes to Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky on celebrating his 70th birthday.
To mark the milestone 70th birthday, 70 Shluchim surprised the visibly emotional Vice Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch for an inspiring and uplifting Shabbos at the Rebbe‘s Ohel.
When Rabbi Kotlarsky arrived at the Ohel on Erev Shabbos, he was greeted by family members, Shluchim, friends and fellow chassidim.
The group spent Shabbos at the Ohel for the davening, meals and an 18-hour long farbrengen.
Many of his family members, shluchim and friends are planning a farbrengen to mark the birthday on Monday evening in Crown Heights as well.
In addition to the wishes, many are also expressing their appreciation to Rabbi Kotlarsky for playing a key role in expanding the global Shlichus network of Chabad centers and institutions.
Rabbi Kotlarsky travels the globe establishing Jewish centers for the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, becoming known as “Judaism’s Globe Trotter.”
In many countries he is the public face of Chabad, visiting heads of state and opening new Chabad centers worldwide.
He serves as the director of the International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch Emissaries (“Kinus Hashluchim”), and Chairman of the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI) and Chabad on Campus International.
Ahead of the birthday, students of the Mayanot Institute in Jerusalem filmed a video sending their wishes to Rabbi Kotlarsky and announcing that they will be putting Tefillin on 70 Jews in his honor.
We love you and salute you Reb Moshe

You are a man of the Rebbe . . . (perhaps The Man Of The Rebbe) who cares and assists and understands your brother Shluchim and Shluchos and their families. You are ‘one of a kind’ so take care of yourself בפשטות, good health until the גאולה בקרוב ממש.
Heartfelt ברכות to you, that you be always having a beautiful, successful day בגו”ר.
