Rabbi Avrohom Korf OBM, the longtime Head Shliach of Florida who passed away on Monday at the age of 92, was interred on Tuesday at the Old Montefiore Cemetery in Queens, New York.
His levaya began at the Chabad Yeshiva Gedola in Miami Beach, Florida on Tuesday morning and visited several Chabad institutions before being flown to New York.
In Crown Heights, the procession passed Chabad-Lubavitch World Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway before continuing to Queens, near the Ohel of the Rebbe and Rebbe Rayatz.
Rabbi Korf, who passed on the eve of Yud Beis Tammuz 5785, the day of liberation of the Rebbe Rayatz, spearheaded the immense growth of the Jewish community in the Sunshine State over the last few decades.
He was buried alongside his wife, dedicated Shlucha Rebbetzin Rivka Korf OBM.
Shiva will begin Tuesday evening in New York, and will continue beginning on Wednesday in Miami.

Mrs. Batsheva Shemtov will be sitting in New York on Tuesday night and will sit Shiva at her home in Oak Park, MI from Wednesday.
