Rabbi Scheiman was in the forefront of kabolas oil as a bochur. I remember the good old days in 1418 when he kept all the bochurim on their toes as he woke them up for morning Seder. He always had a talent to attract a captive audience. Hatzlacha Raba.

What you are doing is absolutley wonderful!. We need more people to emulate him. You don’t need to travel for hours – just walk down the block and reach out to your neighbor in need. Single moms need someone to take their sons to shul and mikva. New moms need someone to help with older kids and sometimes just to show them how to plan their day so laundry, cooking and cleaning get done efficiently even though there is a new bracha in the home who doesn’t let her sleep at night.
