Rabbi Leibel Groner, the Mazkir of the Rebbe, was the guest of the community of Shaarei Tefila in Los Angeles, CA for Thursday night and Shabbos.
The Thursday event was in honor of Yud and Chof Beis Shvat and it began with a Question & Answer session in Kanner Hall/Shaarei Tefila, moderated by Rabbi Moshe Weiss, Shliach in Sherman Oaks, CA.
Rabbi Groner was introduced by the Rov of Shaarei Tefila, Rabbi Moshe Kesselman. The event was attended by over 250 men and women who were greatly inspired by Rabbi Groner’s words.
Rabbi Groner joined the Shabbos morning Minyan, and Farbrenged with the Oilam until after Shabbos; all who attended the Farbrengen were mesmerized and awed by the stories that Rabbi Groner shared, among them stories that we had never heard before. It was a most uplifting and inspiring experience that we will remember for years to come.
Rabbi Groner also spoke to the Children’s Program, inspiring them with a story of the Rebbe.
The event was organized by R’ Sholom Ber Feigelstock. Participants thanked the sponsors Mr. Alan and Adelle Goldstein and an anonymous donor.
