Rabbi Gershon Nof, a resident of Boro Park, Brooklyn, NY, passed away on Tuesday, 17 Tammuz, 5784.
Born in Moscow in 1939, his family was one of the first to leave Russia with the Chabad families. He was a prolific Talmid Chacham, and authored several seforim on a wide range of topics.
He is survived by his siblings Mrs. Miriam Roitblatt, Ms. Ruchomo Romanov, and Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Romanov.
He is also survived by his children, Yosef Priel, Nechemia Priel and Bruchy Winterfeld, and by his stepchildren Menachem Moskowitz, Sima Bart, and Devory Gottlieb.
The Levaya will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, 18 Tammuz.
9:30am at Divrei Chaim in Boro Park, 1214 43 Street.
Passing by 770 at 10:30 am, and burial at Montefiore Cemetery at 11:30 am.
