Rabbi Chaim Osher Zelig Salomon, a dedicated educator and respected member of the Chabad community in Jerusalem, Israel, passed away on Sunday, 11 Shvat, 5781.
He was 76 and passed away after being infected with coronavirus.
Rabbi Salomon was a beloved educator, who was devoted heart and soul to his students. He taught for many years in Bais Chana in Jerusalem. He also served as one of the members of Tzach in Jerusalem.
In his decades in education, he merited to influence many in the ways of Chasidus.
He is survived by his wife, Esther and children, Rochel Leah Halperin – Toronto, Nechama Dina Segal – Israel, Chana Akselrod – Ukraine, Devorah Rivkin – Tampa, FL, Rabbi Aharon Salomon – Nachlas Har Chabad, Rivka Steigman – Crown Heights, and grandchildren.
The levaya took place in Jerusalem.
