“Hoda L’Hashem Ki Tov Ki Li-Olam Chasdo.. Praise G-d, for He is good, His kindness is everlasting. I thank G-d for the miracle He performed for me Thursday evening.. somehow I survived this accident. Bruised and banged up but very much alive.
“Thank you to the paramedics, firefighters, helicopter operators and staff at UCLA hospital for the great care and thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.
“Look forward to being back stronger and more vibrant than ever.”

Modern cars are designed to crumple in an accident thus lengthening the time it takes to come to a stop and lessening the impact of an accident. There are some fascinating videos on YouTube showing new vs old car crash tests.
Crumple zones more allow the car to decelerate more slowly, and to spread the energy of the car in motion around to other structural components of the car. This, combined with rigid-body safety cells for the passengers, allows kinetic energy to go other places besides the human driver and passengers.
I would not discount a miracle. With the best Technology, fatal accidents still occur. This could have turned out different… Thank g-d, Rabbi Bryski is recovering. May have a complete recovery!
