A special melamed! I was fortunate to have Rabbi Piekarski as my 7th grade Rebe. Always had a smile on his face. His face lit up when he was teaching. His beautiful sweet voice would penetrate us while learning – it was a tune that could touch all of our neshamas.
Wishing his family nechama.

He was a kindhearted gentle warm educator. I wasn’t a student nor did I know him personally except for a hello once in awhile. But I do remember, seeing how he would allow his students to know he understands them. He leveled with them and made them feel absolutely comfortable. Never any judgmental attitude or force his students in any things. Rather made them want to do the right things. I remember distinctly once by a Bar Mitzvah sitting next to the Bochur, who had a hard time chazering the Maamer. Due to embarrassment the bochur was hesitant to say… Read more »

Loved the Rebbe
Offered Help to those who needed it most.
Father who loved his children.
Shared his love of Torah with his students.
Had endless patience for those who needed the most help.
Always had a kind word to say to others.
Made everyone around him feel good.
Everything he did was with intention and love.

A wonderful Rebbi. Educator par excellance. Loved his talmidim. Gave each student a love for Hashem The Rebbe and chassidus.
Condolences to the family.
Rabbi Piekarski had a wonderful personality that was able to reach his students. As his 5th grade student in Ocean Parkway I will always remember how he taught with a Chayus and would always sing along in davening and learning.
He was able to connect to many students because of his sincerity.
A fortunate student

A great teacher friend and neighbor. You will be missed. Isser Goldstein
Rabbi Piekarski was my fifth grade teacher and I have. Very fond memories if that year. He was kind, respectful and understanding.
His children are all very special. It takes very special parents to raise a village.
May they all find immense comfort and may we all see moshiach now.
I was a camper in Camp Gan Yisroel in the Catskills. One year, Rabbi Piekarski was the learning director and he was always excited to motivate the boys to grow in Torah. His genuine smile gave off a warmth of Torah knowledge and the message that he was there to assist us in any way to help us grow in learning and Yiras Shomayim. May his Neshama be Maylitz Yoisher for his Mishpocha and all of Klal Yisroel.
