R’ Yoske Wilmowsky, a longtime resident of Crown Heights who was a manager at the Central Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva dormitory in Crown Heights for many years, passed away on Shabbos, 27 Elul, 5781.
He was 61.
He was the son of the famed chosid R’ Zushe Wilmowsky, known as R’ Zushe the Partisan.
He was a beloved figure in the 1414 President Street dormitory of the Yeshiva, who served as a manager and cook for many years.
He also was a longtime beloved member of Getzel’s Shul in Crown Heights, where he taught a Shiur in Chassidus every morning. He was a talmid chochom who was learned in both nigleh and chassidus, and he would review a maamer between Mincha and Maariv on Shabbos in the Shul in a clear, beautiful way.
He was also a longtime member of the Chevra Kadisha in Crown Heights.
He is survived by his wife Devorah, and children Shimi, Yaffa, Zushi, Miriam Perlow, Mendy, Tova Feiner, Nissi, Esty, Faigy Rimler, Fuli and Benyamin, and grandchildren.
He is also survived by his sister Miriam Peres and brothers Levi (Kfar Chabad) and Yankel (North Miami Beach, FL).
The levaya will take place tomorrow, Sunday, at Shomrei Hadas in Boro Park at 1:00 pm and passing by 770 at 2:00 pm.

I was a bochur in 770 in the early samech’s and dormed at 1414 for 3 years. Yoskeh, was always helpful and friendly.
Later when I was in kolel, as the minhag is – to help in the Chevra Kadisheh. My only memories of that time is when I joined Yoskeh Degel. I even remember some our conversations in the car after Lavayah’s.

I was with Yoske in Yeshiva.
He was always friendly to everyone, polite, helpful. He treated everyone with respect, warmth and a smile.
He was a Dugma Chai of a mentch and Ahavas Yisroel.
