In this episode you will learn about R’ Yosef Tumarkin, who was born on 18th Tevet, 5579, in Dubrovno to R’ Eliyahu, a prominent Chossid of the Alter Rebbe, Renowned for his exceptional talents from a young age, he became a distinguished student of the famous R’ Nechemia of Dubrovno and a devout Chossid of the Tzemach Tzedek. R’ Yosef served as the rabbi of Surazh and later Kremenchug. After the Tzemach Tzedek’s passing, he aligned with the Maharash. R’ Yosef passed away unexpectedly on 23rd Tammuz, 5634, in Kiev while visiting his mother, despite the Maharash’s advice to return directly to Kremenchug.
