R’ Yosef Shaul Muskal, a father and grandfather of a Lubavitch family and resident of Boro Park, passed away on Thursday, 13 Nissan, 5782.
He was 86.
Yosef was born in the Bronx, NY in 1935 to his parents Aaron and Esther Muskal. He learned in Tomchei Temimim on Bedford and Dean before making a living as a glassier.
He and his wife Zelda (nee Friedman) were longtime residents of Boro Park and members of the Lubavitch community.
He is survived by his children Rochel Rendler – Crown Heights, Chanah Kupfer – Boro Park, Brooklyn, Suri Moses – Flatbush, Brooklyn, Sheivy Glatzer – Kensington, Brooklyn, and Mendy Muskal – Wellington, FL.
He is also survived by his siblings Bracha Levertov, Malka Sarah Kuperman, and Yankel Muskal, all of Crown Heights.
He was predeceased by his wife Zelda in 2000.
The Levaya will take place today, Thursday, leaving Shomrei Hadas in Boro Park at 2:00 PM and passing by 770 at 3:00 PM.

We will miss him. He was a real Ehrlicher Yid! I have so many fond memories growing up in BP. He would offten come to Yeshivah on OP to learn with his son Mendy. He loved learning above all. BDE
