R’ Nachum Mizrachi, owner of a well known and popular restaurant in Kfar Chabad, Israel, passed away on Thursday, 24 Nissan, 5784.
He was 69.
R’ Nachum was known for his eatery Nachum Restaurant in Kfar Chabad, which was later named 770 Restaurant, and is housed in a building which is modeled after the original 770 Eastern Parkway. The restaurant is well known and beloved as a spot where R’ Nachum served delicious Israeli delicacies to thousands of locals, visitors, and tourists with a smile.
As a bochur, R’ Nachum was one of the ‘meshamshim’ who assisted in the home of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin on President Street.
In recent months he battled a terrible illness.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki, and children, Chanie Lasker (Haifa), Esther Ben-Levy (Miami), Yaakov Mizrachi (Miami), Michal Schulman (Crown Heights), Shaye Mizrachi (Kfar Chabad), Faigy Mograbi (Kfar Chabad) and Rivka Bossie (Phuket).

So many good memories
I have great memories of him in the restaurant when I was a bochur 30 years ago
i remember him making ready the tables for farbrangans when he came as one of kvootza group that came for the year . he worked on preparing for the rabbas farbrengen together with baruch Goldstein mid 70s

I have wonderful memories of your husband and father from many years ago. Nochum was a wonderful person filled with love and kindness b’poel. I have thought of him often over the decades. May he have a lichtige Gan eden.
”Nachum’s was the first restaurant we ate at in Israel. We loved taking our grandchildren who live in The Kfar there. He always asked us how we were doing and greeted us with a smile. May his wife and children have strength. We cant believe the news
