So sorry to see this news. I remember him from when I was in Yeshiva in Los Angeles in the late 1980’s. He was a gregarious character with a big heart.
He should have a lichtigeh Gan Eden. BD’E

He took an interest in me in LA

He was a unique person with a unique mission and he did it with SIMCHA

May his Neshama have an aliyah and may his kids do a lot of good and make him proud

One thing I was inspired by: despite having a lot of tests, he got up early in the morning…something you don’t see so often

He also used to Rent cruises to take people to make them frum he used to buy 2000 ponds of Shemuro Matzo One time the Rebbe asked him when is your. We spent a few years together on the mitzvah tank together, he was the best at standing on the street with Teffillin and a charity box, and bringing Jews into the tank , very sad news, a elevation for his Neshama! Moshiach Now

I remember him from l.a. growing up but I especially remember having the zchus to meet and talk to him at the kosel around 7 years ago he was radiating wiith simcha and chayus and kind pleasantness he was making other Jews happy and alive (he was living then next to the kosel and was every day doing mivzoim at the kosel plazza) he seemed to me then as the ultimate chasid it was reb charm Itche in his glory he was telling me about the different yiden he was mekarev and he was so happy and fortunate about it… Read more »
