U.S. President Barack Obama signed a proclamation declaring April 10, 2014 – the 112th anniversary of the birth of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory – Education and Sharing Day, USA.
The proclamation stated that on this day, “we remember Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, an inspiration to people around the world. Through a lifetime of scholarship and good works, he educated generations and inspired them to reach their fullest potential.”
The president continued that “On Education and Sharing Day, U.S.A., we strengthen our resolve to provide a world-class education for every child.”
to No 3 – maybe read the articles before posting – this is a huge kiddush Lubavitch … several states have taken on to strengthen education… in the Rebbe’s memory – of course we need to improve our own education: but this is pre-Moshiach BH

Instead of just using this day to glorify the rebbe, maybe we act on what it’s about, what I’m sure the rebbe wanted from all this. To imrove our education!
