Gan Menachem Kiddie Korner Preschool in Brooklyn Heights took to the streets on Monday May 19th, in a special ‘Friendship Walk’ celebrating the Lag B’Omer, a day of joy in the spirit of co-operation, tolerance and mateship.
Preschoolers, together with their teachers and parents, marched wearing crowns and holding banners representing the Lag B’Omer message.
Those walking down Remsen St. cheered the walkers on while Chabad of Brooklyn Heights’ Spiritual Leader, Rabbi Aaron L. Raskin, displayed hidden talents as a crossing man, guiding marchers to a presentation on the steps of Borough Hall.
Led by their teachers, students broke out in harmonious song and chants themed around unity and friendship, the 12 pesukim were also said, while enjoying delicious snacks and refreshments.
A great time was had by all who attended and there was a real display of friendship and camaraderie.
The most dedicated fun teacher out there!!
