Summer is a time for trips, camp, family events and outings – where children enjoy a break from the structured learning environment of school. But for school directors and leadership, the summer is a time to focus on the upcoming year and how to enhance the school’s environment and culture for the year to come.
The CECE Network, the Shluchim Office’s department that focuses on Chabad Early Childhood programs, has scheduled a summer conference and retreat for preschool directors and their teachers in leadership roles to come together, grow their skills and gather new ideas for the upcoming school year.
“I always come back from the CECE conferences really inspired and ready to go,” says Mrs. Devora Krasnianski, director of the CECE Network. “It gives me the energy to deal with whatever is coming forth. It’s perfect for the beginning of the school year.”
This year’s conference will feature a keynote address and lead workshops on S.T.E.P.S – Setting the Tone for Excellence, Professionalism & Success by DJ Jensen, an acclaimed early childhood specialist and author of “Monday Memo,” a book about creating change in an early childhood facility 1 message at a time.
Other workshop experiences include The Nature of your Program: The Intersection of Leadership, Nature & Torah, Visionary Art, & The Chassidus of Child Development.
The conference will be conveniently located just outside Baltimore, MD, and will take place from 18-20 Menachem Av (July 30-August 1).
The program is set in a beautiful resort facility, with wholesome farm-to-table meals and a host of restorative amenities to get early-childhood leadership in the right mindset for the new year.
“Preschool directors invest so much in their schools. I’m excited to be investing in them!” said Mrs. Chanie Feldman, co-director of the CECE Network.
