The Bochurim of HLA Public School in Brooklyn Released Time organized a Pre-Purim party for the whole family to teach the students and parents about the Yom Tov.
Hosted by Rabbi Avrohom and Rebbetzin Holtzberg at Chabad of Georgetown, the room was filled to capacity with dozens of smiling students and parents!
The families were treated to a delicious pizza dinner, a family Bingo game and a Purim-themed carnival with a Hamantash Bake.
The parents at the party were able to experience for themselves how their children get excited for their Yiddishkeit and love to be proud Jews! One parent, who drove all the way from Midwood, said, “Now that I see the Released Time Rabbis in action, I understand why my kids love going to school on Wednesdays.”
Released Time thanks Chabad of Georgetown for hosting the event and the dedicated Bochurim of HLA who worked together to make the event possible.
