After extensive preparations, a new Chabad Seminary (Shana Alef) will be opening in the beautiful, central European city of Prague, for the upcoming 5783 school year.
Prague’s Shluchim, Rabbi Manis and Dini Barash, will be hosting the new Seminary. With years of experience in education, they have designed a unique curriculum and learning program, combined with a first-hand shlichus experience. The Seminary will offer high level classes, chavrusah learning, farbrengens and exciting programs, all in a warm, Chassidishe atmosphere.
Throughout the year, the girls will also have the opportunity to visit many European Jewish landmarks on special, organized, fun trips.
The Seminary will be geared to post-high school girls, full of energy and good spirit, seeking a meaningful and exciting Seminary year.
Special care and attention will be given to the needs of the girls, which will be kept to a group of 25 so as to make sure each one gets individualized attention.

This has been in the works for a while
Much hatzlacha!! Such great news
Girls today need a curriculum that includes Shlichus and programs other than just half day learning!
So much good news here!
1. Another seminary to meet our growing need
2. Great location. Europe, so it’s still exciting to our girls, and doesn’t have the same negative challenges as Israel ( yes I said negative, but that’s for another day)
Now here is thr big question- who will the teachers be?
important to make sure don’t have the same 4-5 teachers over and over again
much hatzlacha
