The Prague Seminary has opened registration for its fifth year!
B”H known as a trusted post high- school chinuch institution, dedicated to providing young women with a meaningful, structured, and nurturing year of growth. Our goal is to partner with parents in giving each student the opportunity to mature spiritually, emotionally, and personally—while feeling supported, guided, and cared for every step of the way.
Located in the heart of Prague’s historic Old Jewish Ghetto, the seminary is surrounded by centuries of Jewish life and learning, just steps from the Altneu Shul of the Maharal and the Old Jewish Cemetery. The seminary operates in a secure, modern facility that includes a dormitory, classrooms, student lounge, renovated kitchen, and exercise room. Great care is taken to ensure a comfortable, safe, and well-supervised environment where students’ needs are fully met, both b’gashmius and b’ruchnius.
One of the Prague Seminary’s defining strengths is its small size, which allows for genuine personal attention. Each student is known, valued, and supported as an individual. The Hanhala maintains close communication with students, and the Madrichot provide daily guidance, structure, and care, ensuring that every girl has someone to turn to and feels at home throughout the year.
The seminary’s curriculum is carefully designed to build a strong foundation in Torah, Chassidus, and Hashkafa, while addressing the questions and challenges young women face at this stage of life. Classes include Maamar, Bayis Yehudi, Chinuch, Halacha, Likkutei Sichos, Parshas Hashavua, Inyonei Geulah u’Moshiach, Jewish History, Gemara, and the teachings of the Maharal. Learning is presented in a thoughtful and engaging manner that encourages growth, clarity, and confidence.
Beyond the classroom, students participate in supervised and meaningful programs that foster responsibility, leadership, and a sense of purpose. Through exciting shlichus projects—such as mivtzoim, children’s programs, CTeen activities, women’s learning initiatives, and visits to senior centers and the local Jewish school—students learn how to give to others while strengthening their own values.
Monthly educational trips across Europe are an integral part of the program. These trips are carefully planned and supervised, combining cultural enrichment, Jewish history, and exposure to real-life shlichus in a safe and structured way.
At its core, the Prague Seminary is committed to helping every girl develop into a confident, grounded young woman with strong values in Yiddishkeit, Chassidishkeit, and life skills—well prepared for her future roles in family, community, and shlichus.
