This past Thursday night, 1000 Bochurim gathered in Bais Rivkah in Crown Heights for a “Tzeischem Lisholom” evening, marking the close of the uplifting Tishrei season they spent by the Rebbe – with Hachnosas Orchim and programming organized by the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim.
Addressing the Bochurim were Rabbi Osher Farkash, Mashpia of the Lubavitch Yeshiva in Argentina, Rabbi Yoel Kahn, the Rebbe’s Chozer, Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, and Rabbi Yosef Shmuel Gerlitzki, Shliach in Tel Aviv, encouraging them to carry on the Tishrei inspiration throughout the year.
Philanthropist Yoseph Yitzchak Popack, whose caring and generosity were crucial to the comfort the Bochurim enjoyed throughout the month, attended the event, and was thanked by Rabbi Tzvi Altein, Director of the Vaad Hatmimim, for all he does for the guests.
