Having opened its doors last year, the impact of the Mikvah of the Poconos continues to flourish as Mikvah attendance and education grows across the region.
Celebrating its first year, Mikvah Founders, Rabbi Shmuly and Chana Newman, held a special women’s evening of inspiration.
From seasoned Mikvah attendees to women who had never seen a Mikvah before, the large crowd was diversified.
Yet the motivating program created an atmosphere of unity in which women felt connected, committed, and uplifted.
The crowd was awed after touring the exquisite, state-of-the-art Mikvah, and genuinely moved by the inspiring program.
The evening featured Rabbi Y.N. Lipskier whose words of truth and joy captivated the audience as he highlighted the power of Mikvah on a couple’s emotional connection.
Chaya Bracha Rubin then performed, uplifting the neshama of each attendee through her mesmerizing songs and stories that touched the heart.
The environment was filled with connection and the pure kedusha that only Mikvah can bring.
All were encouraged to strengthen their connection to Mikvah, whether through hiddur Mitzvah, inspiring others, or simply starting to go themselves.
That very evening, two women committed to Mikvah for the very first time in their lives!
And all of this can be in your merit.
Your partnership is needed to help keep its doors open!
With Mikvah costs reaching over $5,000 monthly, your generosity ensures that every Jewish woman will have the opportunity to access the Mikvah of the Pocono Mountains.
As the new year begins, please consider taking on the role – and great Zchus – of Parnas HaChodesh. The huge merit of Mikvah attendance will be yours by sponsoring one month of the Mikvah’s expenses.
Alternatively, you can join our Chai Club with a monthly donation, or dedicate special parts of the Mikvah that will carry your name and legacy.

Chaya Bracha we can’t thank you enough for the uplifting energy and deeply inspiring performance. You are so talented, every Chabad House should have you come and lift the Yidden in their community. Your connection to Hashem is real and impacts all that hear you sing. Looking forward to having you again.
