The only kosher drive-thru in North America is back in service.
The Pizza Pita restaurant in Montreal’s Cote-des-Neiges neighborhood has reopened its window for passing vehicles to pick up their orders, some 2 months after it was burned down.
Owner Chaim Shpigelman recently proudly served the first customers driving by the renovated drive-thru window and handed out orders and even free ice cream for the family.
As reported on COLlive.com, the popular dairy eatery was a victim to arson on Shabbos morning on December 1, 2018. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames, but the attack left the drive-thru damaged.
“It was a serious fire,” Shpigelman said. “We closed the drive-thru since December, but we were able to keep operating the store and business is booming. The renovation took a while and it now looks nice and bright.”
He said that they installed additional surveillance cameras in the restaurant, and noted that police were never able to identify the arsonist although he was seen on camera.
“We have clips of the guy who did it,” he said. “Police still didn’t catch him and don’t know the motive behind it. Was it arson or anti-Semitic? The police are in the dark.”

I go there every time I visit! Great food, service and a fun place!
remember to give them business and emotional support
If it had been the house of the top politician or an “A list” big celebrity, who’s house as torched, they would have caught the perp.
