R’ Avi Goldberger, a resident of Crown Heights, is visiting Miami, Florida, to celebrate the Bar Mitzvah of his grandson.

Davening Shachris at Beis Menachem of Miami Beach on Wednesday, Shushan Purim, he met Harry who is 89 years old.

Harry came to say Kaddish for his grandmother. At first, Harry adamantly refused but R’ Avi was persistent and didn’t let up.

Harry eventually agreed and put on Tefillin and recited Shma Yisroel. Afterwards, Harry expressed just how happy and grateful he was that R’ Goldberger pushed him to put on Tefillin.
