What a fantastic use of money!! I’m sure the Rebbe is very proud of the yidden who put it up!
and the Frierdiker Rebbe
and the Rebbe Rashab-
If it bothers you soooo much- don’t look at it!
Moshiach Now!
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A “YID, DID YOU PUT ON TEFILLIN TODAY?” TO THIS SIGN? BOTH ARE HEAVENLY COMMANDS, FROM OUR TORAH. ARE YOU EMBARRASED BY WHAT IS STATED IN THE TRUTH OF THE TRUTHS?? WHY ARE ALL YOUR MINDS WARPED? AND IF IT’S G-D’S WISH IT’S THE REBBES WISH TOO!!!
‘LO TOSURU ACHARAY LEVAVECHEM VEACHARAY ENECHEM……….’
YIDDEN, WAKE UP. THE TORAH IS FOR YOUR GOOD TILL 120 EVERY SINGLE DETAIL!!!
Thats your opinion
Although the derech of Chabad is not to chase darkness with a broom, nevertheless, what is bothering you so much that other Yidden put up this billboard? There are Yidden who work in Manhattan, where the level of tznius is much lower than in their communities. What’s wrong with a reminder about shemiras haeynaim? If you didn’t notice anything in Manhattan, maybe you live in a community where the tznius level is not much better. Secondly, for someone who never noticed, this sign will not make him notice. Ditto the comment above that shemiras haeynaim is a key to happiness,… Read more »
Perhaps it’s time to check out who are self proclaimed and who are appointed by Rebbe himself with his holy handwriting. It’s time to check out facts before one opens his/her mouth. The people who are appointed by Rebbe, the Rebbe depended on them to fulfill their position and bring the Rebbe’s message to the world without causing CHILUL HA’SHEM AND CHILUL LUBAVITCH AND DESECRATING THE NAME OF THE REBBE!!!! JUST THE OPPOSITE! THEY RESPECT THE REBBE AND HIS MESSAGES.! JUST FIND OUT THE RIGHT FACTS!
something i can tell you…

Manhattan is nothing compared to Kingston Ave. I looove coming to Crown Heights, if you know what I mean.
Sponsored by…?
It’d be cool to find out!
Maybe instead we can put up a billboard with a picture of the Rebbe with some nice words and 770’s phone number on it.
sorry but i thinks its actually pretty funny… they think its actually going to do anything??
thats like camp when they say “nobody look to the right everybody look to the left”
There are other billboards proselytizing to Yidden in Hebrew and Yiddish about HORRIBLE things – atheism etc. all over Brooklyn. Those billboards are worse.
just wait until mishehu yavi et zeh la’media. Eizehu chochom, haroeh es hanolad!
Worked in Manhattin years and wasnt ever too distracted. Case in point the subway ride going in….If you know what i mean.
We have the opportunity to fill all Billboards with the Rebbe’s message for Yidden’s increased Emuna and Bitochon in Moshiach yet we don’t and it results in these types of idiotic billboards instead. As Gimel Tamuz approaches, we must wake up and smell the coffee, to face up to reality of what exactly the Rebbe demanded from us in his last few years here. No one can deny that the Rebbe was 100% preoccupied 24/7, with Moshiach, in each and every single one of his Farbrengens and each and every single sicha was about NOTING BUT about Moshiach, his last… Read more »
Apparently some Meshugaim have money to burn on nareshkiten. When we see such shtusim being put up we question the mental state of the one who put up this sign. When we see an untzniusdik billboard, even inside CH we kvetch and complain that it “it needs to be taken down”. But who is really at fault? The ones really at fault are all of us, who are unhappy with these Meshugene Billboards, and we had the opportunity to put up our own proper billboards yet we did not do our job. If all of us normal people will not… Read more »
I love it!!!
And its not offensive, just a nice reminder that we hold oursleves on a different standard
I work in Manhattan and never see any thing faintly tempting. If anything, can’t wait to get back to Brooklyn every day. I think the sign only serves to whet people’s curiosity and LOOK for it.
HOW MUCH MORE INSANE CAN PEOPLE STILL BECOME…WHO WOULD EVER BELIEVE IT…
a reminder isnt a bad thing
better yet spend that money to a poor family in need in their community, soemone who isnt skimming off welfare
Someone realized that you’ve got to combat fire with fire. If you have spiritually dangerous billboards, you’ve got to have one that warns you of the danger ahead!
Keeping ones’ eyes guarded is a GUARANTEE to your inner happiness, sholom Bayis and if you are single, it’s a GUARD so that your future mate will look and desire you only.
Pray that it’s this way!
Which person wants their spouse looking at others?? Someone on a LOW level morally, spiritually and emotionally.
Stability in a WHOLESOME relationship is your key to long term marriage.
LEARN about what is valuable and respectable in your eyes and those around you!
Rishon lekilkul, vehacharon lemaasse.
It’s 10 am! What did you do to keep your eyes and the eyes of your fellow today, yesterday, from last time that you were aware of the issue?
What a waste of money. Bunch of self centered egotistical extremist narrow minded people who did this. The money would be far better used for real tzedakah, for people who really could use it and need it. Not for this garbage.
What is this about! Can someone explain?
It is sure to bring a crowd of voyeurs eager to look where they are told not to. One who wrestles with a mud covered opponent gets himself dirty. We are day workers.
Why is that a “nerve” ? Whats wrong with reminding thousands of Yiddin about shmiras eiynayim?
BH
I wonder if the next sign is going up on Kingston Avenue?
what’s the danger zone?
but that has to be a joke.
who ever wrote that is disgusting and the billboard should be taken down right away.
