it appears from the pictures that less people can fit on a bench, does that mean they will have to stand instead???
they have someone fixing the benches the whole time
but thy have limits a shul has to look nice
…And the new will look like the old, lol!

Get rid of the new benches and reJEWvenate the original benches!!!

maybe the old benches should be auctioned off on Ebay. I remember in the chabad house where I grew up the schliach had a shtender from somewhere, used by the Rebbe (or Friediker Rebbe) at least once, and he said it was a holy object, etc., implying it was very valuable. maybe it they auction off the old benches, it could raise money for the shul now
nice improvement, I appreciate it. I notice a lot of pushkas too, it seems a campaign for us to take a few pushkas each, and bring to where we work, etc. to help pay for things, new bathrooms, etc. was there a story on this I missed ?
