i was on that trip it was an unbelievable experience. the man had not put on tefillin since his barmitzva. when he finished he said he felt very inspirational. it was so precious to see how innocent children witnessed this and were so deeply moved. some children were discussing this on the way back to camp and said maybe we”ll find a few people to put tefillin on by the next trip. thanks r zates for being a teacher par excellence and a great role model.
