Just this minute I found out about the petira H”H/
Hashem should give you all the koyches to overcome the great loss. Hamokom yenachem eschem.
he has helped me immensely and i am not a shaliach
May you be comforted Reb Moshe!
What beautiful sights await your mother A.H.
Yankel has been wonderful to us, coming far out to where we are on shlichus to do brissim for our sons and staying longer than usual to make sure we and the baby are doing well.
And Moshe has been extraordinarily kind in helping with mezuzos and tefilin for us and for members of our community. May they be bentched with only simcha and hatzlacha and nachas from their children and grandchildren
Agree with #14, rabbi yankel klein, you give and you give of yourself to jews everywhere without asking for money or anything in return…may hashem look upon you,my son’s mohel, with kindness, and comfort you,and your family, in your mourning.
Wonderful and informative comments…some about Rabbi M. Klein…a very great man.
I only wish all the local website comments would be as intelligent and wise.
Reb Yankel… you are such an ehirlicher chossid. You (and your family) should only know simchos, and may you continue to only give nachas to those around you. I am very fortunate to have met you, and benefit from you. We can all learn from you the way a chossid should live!
Your mother must have been a very special lady to raise a son like you.
hamokom yenachem eschem bsoich shar aveilei tzion beyerushalayim!
We should only know simchas…
Reb Moishe is an example of “Real Mench”…
He is involved with Harbotzas Chasidus and Chesed, with Anash, from the far LEFT<<<<< to the far RIGHT>>>>>
Reb Moishe we (the left and the right), wish you, only simchas.
The Graa.
We cover pictures of people and mirrors in a home where ppl are stting shivah.
The walls have mirors on them. According to Jewish law a person who is sitting shiva can not look into mirors and thats why they are always covered.
To #2. It is costomary to cover all mirrors and reflective surfaces in the home in which a mourner is sitting shiva.
BS’’D
The walls may have mirrors on them, and since mourning is a time for intense self reflection and repair, we decide to cover the reflection of our own image so as to make sure that the inside turns out better, being that we wouldn’t be distracted by our outside appearance.
Only Simchas.
It seems that they are covering up photographs which is the minhag in a beis ovel.
No pictures or mirors
Are aloud to be looked at.
Reb Moshe selflessly helps shluchim from all over the world.
I know from personal experience… Just as he opens his heart to the needs of our Rebbes Shluchim so too Hashem should open the gates of shomayim and bless him and his mishpocha in grat abundance and Im going to pay my debt IRH without a discount .
HaMakom yinachem eschem b’soch she’ar avaylay Tzion
Virushalayim.
I hope this is not an insensitive question. This is just out of ignorance: why are the walls covered with tablecloths?
hamokom yenachem eschem bsoich shar aveilei tzion beyerushalayim!
