Going backwards…#16, living in Israel is evidence that we ARE praying. I have seen impromptu Mincha minyanim at the side of the main Jerusalem-Tel Aviv highway. My husband has stopped in the middle of nowhere to daven. Taxi drivers, even a bus driver once, pull over to daven, regardless of passengers who wait patiently (surprising for Israelis!!). The big supermarkets have small shuls & announce over loudspeakers mincha or maariv is starting. BUT…. I 1000% agree with posters who say we need to stop employing Arab workers. That’s the one thing I always admired about muslims, no matter where they are in a any situation, no matter what others may think of them they stop to pray. We can learn from this too, not to be ashamed or make concessions to our religion.
