Lubavitch Bochur Dovid Moya was sworn in to the US Navy as a Chaplain today at 770 Eastern Parkway, by Lieutenant Levi Ceitlin, the first Lubavitcher in the US Navy, alongside Chaplain Major Dovid Grossman of the US Air Force Auxiliary.
The swearing-in ceremony marks the culmination of an extensive application process and marks the beginning of a servicemember’s career, who will go on to training and then serving on a military base.

After the war, the Klausenberger Rebbe would visit Jewish children stating that he wanted them to see what real Jews look like. Boruch Hashem! THIS is what they look like. Our Rebbe said that brocha comes through the beard.
