On a recent Wednesday night the grand opening night of the show, “PNIMI – Seeing Inward,” took place at the Miami Beach JCC.
“PNIMI – Seeing Inward” is an exhibit by American photographer Marko Dashev, who has trained with the world’s most famous photographers. Since 1999, his fashion & commercial photography earned him Ralph Lauren, Burberry, J Crew, DKNY and others as clients.
Starting in 2013, Marko focused on photographing and documenting outstanding individuals in the Jewish world. The exhibition includes fascinating portraits of Rabbis, scholars, artists, musicians and other personalities.
“I Looked to combine my profession with a meaningful Jewish purpose,” Dashev says. “During my work for a cover shoot for the Jewish magazine Ami, and while actively pursuing my first project phase, it became clear to me that my passion and mission are finally aligned.”
Over 50 large prints of Marko Dashev’s photographs are on display at the exhibit, covering over 600 feet of wall space.
“This series of images of Orthodox Rabbis, personalities and musicians by commercial and fine arts photographer Marko Dashev invites you to ‘See Inward,’ to explore what they expose about their inner essence as well as their vulnerability and strength,” one visitor said.

Art that needs no explaining.
I found it very interesting to read about the main interest of each subject that was photographed, and there was a meaningful quote of each one, on the plaque, as well.
Great spectrum of great and interesting people. The explanation was helpful and gave another dimension to the art
Amazing to actually see photography on that level in our community.
A show that Definitely makes the neshama think deeper. Yasher koach!
