Miami philanthropist couples Motti and Adina Korf and David and Eda Schottenstein have stepped forward to match all donations to bring Rabbi Yudi Dukes home given now until $500,000 is reached.
For five months, thousands joined together to daven for Rabbi Yudi Dukes, director of Jnet, who was critically ill with COVID-19.
After five long months, the impossible dream became a tangible reality. Baruch Hashem, Yudi is now miraculously on the path to recovery. The words of tehillim and mitzvos of so many stormed Shamayim and helped to bring about Yudi’s refuah. Every step forward in his rehabilitation is an incredible victory: his first words, his first steps, his first bites of food in four months, and, most recently, his first breaths all on his own.
An incredible 4307 people around the world have already joined the campaign to help the Dukes family, and they are nearing the goal of $500,000.
Today, in the final 12 hours of the campaign, Motti and Adina Korf and David and Eda Schottenstein will match all donations until the goal is reached.
“We are so excited for Sarah and the Dukes family that Yudi is coming home!” said Eda Schottenstein. “May the Rebbe continue to look out for and watch over his soldiers and may Yudi’s recovery be swift and complete.”
Motti Korf is pledging his donation “to say thanks to Hashem and the Rebbe for the great kindness Hashem has shown us and will iy”h continue to show us,” he said.
“The outpouring of support is truly moving and a great comfort to the Dukes family as Yudi faces many challenges in the months ahead,” campaign organizers said. “And this generous donation will be the final push to get Yudi home.”
