Bochurim on the way to Yeshivas Kayitz in Postville, Iowa, were waiting in the airport Monday, and they approached a fellow Jewish passenger and asked him if he would like to put on Tefillin.

Bochur Yosef Shemtov of Riverdale, New York, says they were surprised by the man’s response.

The man said he was very excited to put on Tefillin, and explained why.

“My wife and I were talking about 2 hours ago that we have to get more involved in Judaism,” the man told the bochurim. “We decided we should start going to synagogue.”

A short time later, the bochurim approached him.

“Now you offer me to put on Tefillin, this must be a sign from G-d,” the man said.
