The Parshan family recently completed a Sefer Torah in memory of their husband and father Reb Dov Parshan OBM, a founding member of the Chabad community in Toronto, Ontario.
The Torah was donated by his wife, Mrs. Rivkah Parshan, and his children, Rabbi Mendel and Avigail Popack – Cape Town, South Africa, Rabbi Meir and Sara Parshan – Toronto, Rabbi Boruch and Tova Chazanov – New York, and Rabbi Moshe and Chaya Perman – Caracas Venezuela.
The Torah was completed at the Chabad Gate Center in Toronto, and was welcomed with joyous singing and dancing in the streets.
